If your blinds are not opening & closing correctly or easily, then these tape clips or tape spacers may be missing or not fully attached.

These tape spacers or clips are designed to told the top slat so that the roller and drum inside the headrail are able to roll easily.

They are fitted under the braid that hold the slat up then clipped over the edges of your top slat.
